FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you offer wholesale?
I don’t do wholesale.
Do you accept requests for custom orders?
Currently, I don’t accept commissions or custom orders. My focus is on creating the designs that are available in my collections. Thank you for understanding!
How is pricing determined for designs & pieces?
I spend most of my time painting pieces than on the wheel, so pricing is determined heavily by what I’m painting and how long it takes. Pricing for each design is based on a couple of things: complexity of the form being thrown, complexity of the design being painted, number of colors used to complete a design, amount of space being painted, and total amount of time required to paint an item.
Since every piece (except for The Cake Collection) is entirely hand-painted (yes, everything is freehanded—no stamps, transfers, or stencils) and carved, they take much longer to make than if I were using glazes alone. For example, one of my kitchen sink mugs takes at least 2.5 hours just to paint and carve—not to mention the time spent throwing, trimming, and adding the handle!
What is The Cake Collection?
The Cake Collection was developed in collaboration with my friend, Madeline Grimm from Mads Eatz. I throw/hand-build every piece, then Madeline decorates each piece using her cake decorating skills. Using our collective expertise in ceramics and cake decorating, we bring these pieces to life and into your hands!
Prices for pieces in this collection are higher than my general inventory because this collection involves two artists, higher material costs, and a greater investment in time.
I do accept custom orders for The Cake Collection! If you’d like a custom design or want a piece inspired by a cake (such as for a wedding or special event), just reach out to me! The production time for custom orders is typically 4–6 weeks.
How often is your online inventory updated?
I absolutely love meeting customers in person and sharing my work with them directly, so I don’t update my online inventory often. However, you can always reach out if you’re interested in a specific piece, or find my work at local businesses like Dozen Bakery or at Artisan Markets throughout the year.

Disclaimer
All products are handmade, which means there will be slight variations in all pieces. Items are measured to assess size through either height & width OR by ounces. I try and be as exact as possible; however, there is a possibility some measurements may be slightly off due to human error.
All glazes used are food safe, unless otherwise stated. All pieces are microwave and dishwasher safe, but it is always recommended to hand-wash your pieces for longevity.
