Hi there! I’m Amy, the artist and creative mind behind AQ Ceramics. I'm a Registered Dietitian & Food Banker by day, and a Ceramic Artist by night. I love painting, illustration, vibrant colors, and (of course) food, and I channel all of that into my ceramics to bring you the concept of “foodie” ceramics.

My core collection includes four staples: mugs, spoon rests, platters, and oil pourers. Throughout the year, I introduce new pieces like butter dishes, pedestal bowls, pitchers, wine tumblers, and ornaments—just to name a few. Each piece is hand-thrown or hand-built using a white, porcelain-like clay body. I use underglazes to freehand paint each design, then add depth and dimension by carving into the painted designs.

Collaboration is an important part of my journey as an artist. Recently, I teamed up with my friend (and fellow Dietitian) Madeline Grimm of Mads Eatz to create The Cake Collection—a fun, cake-inspired pottery series that celebrates the beauty of cake design!
